Once space travel seemed like such an unattainable aspiration, but the discovery of Alchemy helped make it a reality. However the mix of the magic of Alchemy with the science of space travel was met with a price no one expected. Due to ignorance and Man's all too dangerous God complex dangerous magics were tampered with. Through unbalanced experiments, they stumbled onto the legendary Gate of Truth.
It wasn't long before it was discovered just how powerful this Gate was. Traveling through the Gate of Truth required a heavy price that Man wasn't willing to pay. Instead of playing by the rules, they used science and magics to try and cheat the gate, as well as control it. This only served to confuse and anger it. Insulted by their attempt to cheat the laws of Alchemy and travel without a proper exchange, the Gates decided to put an end to Man's selfish nature and started the beginning of the apocalypse for their universe.
Unmerciful, the Gate not only turned that universe into intergalactic slums but also spread the damage and rage to nearby universes. Throughout all the chaos, people were ripped out of their own time and space and trapped in the Gate along with the Dead that hadn't had the chance of rebirth yet. The damages continued, reaching the center of the universe, finally stopped by a cluster of worlds with very sensitive and open paths strongly connecting one to the other. These are the worlds connected by Kingdom Hearts and the power of Light and when the universal rifts caused by the Gate reached the paths of Light. It began to open them releasing the trapped people and lost lives into their planets. This cluster of universes has named itself "Centerverse".
After years of barrier building and repairs to the paths by King Mickey, there was finally some balance established for the people being released into their worlds. There is no known safe way of returning these people to their homes but it has been rumored that wanted men and sky pirates still use the openings left by the damaged Gate to escape the law. They of course have to pay the hefty price required by the laws of Alchemy for their freedom.
People are still appearing in the worlds and the Dead at times do not remain dead. But thanks to an organization of moogles put together by the king called "The gate watcher" these people are given a temporary home and some munny upon arrival. Still, unknown to the citizens of Centerverse, the people left behind in the dying universes are trying in vain to fix the gate, but only seem to be making it worse. Centervese is beginning to feel some of the repercussions as the ties holding back the darkness are slowly slipping away.

Though it is video game and anime based it is still an utterly multi-fandom game so have fun and be creative!

*Twitches* I think I depressed myself >.> ... well... not really I just feel sorry and sadly it's for a fictional character.
I was rping as Harry with a Professor Lupin. He was doing the old 'Tell Harry his dead God father used to be my lover' thing. So gasp were done blah blah luckily this Remus didn't break down and cry on me.
So they start talking about Sirius and Harry has a realization.... Sirius life... SUCKED! Sure he acted happy and cheerful but his life sucked fish balls! He was born into a family he hated only to run away and be an outcast living with his friend... which was like maybe for like 2 years. Then maybe 2 or 3 years tops he spent on his own... so that's like 4 or 5 years he had of happiness. Then he gets thrown in jail were he spends 12 years in self hatred and anger. Then gets out for 2 more years on the run with self hatred and guilt. Then he dies... from falling behind a curtain. Fuck a doodle doo.
...well with that said... MAR!
